JJYC Bara is implementing the Equal Access in Education (SAMATA) project, funded by FCDO and led by VSO Nepal, in Bara and Rautahat districts. The project commenced in April 2021 and is scheduled to conclude on 31 March 2024.
The primary objective of the project is to promote inclusive and high-quality education for marginalized girls and children. It also seeks to ensure continuity of learning during and after the COVID-19 pandemic through COVID-responsive support activities.
The project focuses on providing mentoring support to children, including children with disabilities, in four local governments of Bara and Rautahat, covering a total of 20 schools in Province 2.
