JJYC Bara has been implementing Early Grade Quality Improvement Project (EQUIP) supported and funded by FCDO with partnership of VSO Nepal from Jan-March 2021 in four local levels of Bara and Rautahat Districts. The project is aligned with the SAHAYATRA project funded by European Union and led by VSO. The project aims to ensure inclusive quality education for marginalized girls and children with disability through resilient, gender-responsive education governance enhanced by CSO engagement in Nepal. The project is being implemented in 20 schools of Bara and Rautahat district respectively. 10 schools were selected from Bara district i.e. 5 schools each from Kalaiya and Jeetpur-Simara sub-metropolitan city of Bara district and 10 schools were selected from two municipalities of Rautahat district i.e Gadhi Mai Municipality and Gaur Municipality. The EQUIP is currently focused on Development and enhancement of ECD at school and municipal level of both districts.
