Project: Strengthening Maternal Neonatal Health Services in Partnership with the Local Government

The three-year project "Strengthening Maternal Neonatal Health Services in Partnership with the Local Government" project, implemented by JJYC Bara with financial support from One Heart World-Wide, is being carried out across all 16 local governments of Bara District, Nepal. The project is focused on drastically reducing home deliveries, aiming to achieve zero home births by enhancing the capacity of existing health facilities and birthing centers. This initiative includes upgrading infrastructure, providing essential equipment, and training healthcare providers to ensure safe and skilled childbirth. By strengthening the local health system and fostering collaboration with government bodies, the project seeks to improve maternal and neonatal health outcomes, ensuring that every mother has access to quality care during childbirth.
